Q: Why can't I get a user name and password to the irsociety chat rooms?
A: The irsociety chat system has many users and many of the normal names are taken. Try choosing something with numbers in it. (e.g. BigMan56) You will have a much better chance of being accepted.
A: Sometimes the chatrooms will go down. Sometimes forever and sometimes just for a couple days or months. The best thing to do is try back later or contact the owner of the site.
A: In most chatrooms all you have to do is follow the onscreen instructions. Usually they will have a help page to guide you along the way. But generally you just have to enter your handle (name), and then type your messages. After that you just push send to receive and post messages.
